The exhibition will feature 54 photos taken across cities and provinces of the country, from the point of view of two photographers Nguyen Van Trung and Chu Viet Ha. Their aim is to honour the art of photography, especially street art photography, an emerging trend that has gained a lot of attention in Viet Nam in the last few years.

Nguyen Van Trung was born in Ha Noi and is currently working as a counsellor and a member of the administration board of a Ha Noi-based bank. He is also the representative photographer of the Fujifilm Corporation in Viet Nam and the co-founder of the Fujifilm X Viet Nam photo forum.

Trung has been pursuing sophisticated and humourous scenes on the streets over the past few years. His works are now being displayed at exhibitions in Viet Nam and Japan, as well as in magazines and newspapers, such as Fujifilm X Magazine, X Photographers Book 2015 and 2016 and Recoh-Pentax Magazine.

In 2015, Trung was one of the two photographers to win first prize in a photo contest co-organised by the Recoh-Pentax Corporation and the Japanese Professional Photographers Society.

Chu Viet Ha was born in the northern province of Bac Ninh. As one of the two co-founders of the Fujifilm X Viet Nam photo forum, Ha has been pursuing the philosophy of “decisive moments”, bringing viewers closer to moments occuring on the streets everyday. He was part of the judging panel of Photo Talk, organised by Fujifilm Viet Nam.

The exhibition by the two photographers will be held on the 4th floor, Tower B, Vincom Centre, 191 Ba Trieu Street, Ha Noi.
