VietNamNet Bridge – The National Students Vovinam Championships is taking place in Hue with the participation of 480 martial art practitioners from 28 teams across the country.

They are competing for 77 sets of medals in the combat and performance categories.

The event aims to develop Vietnamese traditional martial arts across the country, and will conclude today.

Vovinam is played in more than 60 countries in the world with and without weapons.

The first National Students Vovinam Championships were held in the central province of Thanh Hoa last year, attracting 425 athletes from 24 teams.
