The photos capture the livelihood of coastal fishermen from the early morning, when the sun rises, creating a beautiful, surreal scene.

Amateur photographer Vu Thanh Thuy said the photos were taken in the summer of 2021 and 2022. He was very surprised when these images went viral again, promoting the image of his hometown Thai Binh.

The photos were mainly taken at Quang Lang beach, in Thuy Hai commune, Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province, about 140 km from Hanoi. This is a pristine sea, which is a fishing ground of local people. In the past few years, Quang Lang beach has attracted photographers and tourists with its magical beauty in the early dawn. This place is known as "infinity beach".

Quang Lang beach does not have white sand, clear blue sea or big waves, but has a peaceful and wild character with dark brown, flat and endless sandy beach. Early in the morning, when the water dries up, the sea surface is coated with a thin layer of water, only reaching the ankles, Quang Lang looks like a giant mirror reflecting the sky.

Local people's life is closely related to the sea. From early in the morning, women go to the beach to catch snails. They use a special tool made of small steel rods called "tiem".
Quang Lang people use a traditional fishing gear made from two long, V-shaped bamboos and nets to catch shrimp and small fish near the shore.
In the deeper water area, people walk on stilts to pull fishing nets, creating a vivid picture.
