VietNamNet Bridge – The classical music and ballet show “Summer Melody” will take place at the Hanoi Opera House, 1 Trang Tien, Hanoi at 8pm on June 13.
Well-known artists of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet will perform, including conductor Nguyen Thieu Hoa, singer Thang Long (soprano), Tran Trang (mezzo soprano), Manh Dung (baritone) and the theatre’s orchestra and dancers.
The show’s choreographer is Pontus Linberg.
As a foreigner travelling to the old city of Hoi An, young talented choreographer Pontus Lidberg had a strong impression of the many silk lanterns in the ancient street. The silk lanterns represent the symbol of an encounter. The bamboo inside is resistant and strong like the swaying back of a male dancer, tenderly, supporting movements of female like silk, and this blend makes up a golden love, shimmering…
