Five front-street four-storey villas on Quang An street in Tay Ho district with an area of 1,263 sq m are offered at the price of VND660 billion.
The villas are well known by many brokers, who say the villas are located in the best Quang An area. Also on Quang An street, a house described by brokers as "awesome, for high society" is up for sale. Its total area is 1,270 sq m and the price is VND600 billion.
The brokers say that this is an extremely scarce property, with all necessary documents. The house is set on building land with legal status and long-term ownership.
There are also a number of ads about the sale of properties worth hundreds of billions of dong in the Old Quarter in the prime central area, and other central business districts.
A 9-storey building on Ton Duc Thang street in Dong Da district, covering an area of 528 sq m is offered at VND485 billion. A street-front building on Thai Ha street in the same district, 1,869 sq m, is offered at VND518 billion, and a house on Xa Dan, 183 sq m at VND118 billion.
On Cau Giay street, many houses are seeking buyers with prices ranging from VND550 million to VND750 million per sq m. The prices are a little lower on Trung Kinh street, VND500-600 million per sq m.
Meanwhile, on Tran Duy Hung Street, townhouses are offered at VND500-700 million per sq m. A 200 sq m house with four stories is quoted at VND145 billion, or VND725 million per sq m. At present, it is leasing for VND250 million a month.
The villas at recently developed real estate projects are also the choice of many people, especially young families. A villa at Vinhomes Green Bay (Nam Tu Liem district) is offered at VND650 million per sq m. With a total area of 300 sqm, the total value of the villa is VND200 billion.
Minh Thu, a real estate broker, said in general, the villas with good views are priced at no less than $10 million.
Tran Cong, director of a real estate trading floor in Hanoi, commented that many investors have to sell properties now at lower prices than previously because they need money to pay bank debts.
