According to the “Vietnamese Travel Sentiment Snapshot, 06-09/2022 period” report conducted in May, Outbox Company indicates that Vietnam has begun to open up to outbound travel trips.

A total of 76% of tourists chose the Asia-Pacific region for their travel preference as thecpandemic has been well controlled in the region.

Japan topped the rankings with of 22%, followed by the Republic of Korea, Singapore, and Thailand.

The report also highlights that the domestic tourism market has shown positive signs of recovery after more than two years of being impacted by the pandemic, with the recovery level reaching 8.69 out of 10.

The number of tourists concerned with their health and finance in relation to the pandemic stood at 47.83% and 47.17%, respectively.

Outbox Company also reveals that Vietnamese tourists were still concerned about their children’s safety due to COVID-19. However, they felt comfortable with travelling around the country for a short time of up to two nights.
