The much-loved Scottish singing sensation has agreed to perform on December 31 in Nanjing, eastern China's Jiangsu Province, at the New Year's Eve concert hosted by Jiangsu Satellite TV, the broadcaster said on its website.

Boyle will sing three songs during the gala, including her signature song, "I Dreamed a Dream".

This will be Boyle's debut on the Chinese mainland, after the 49-year-old impressed the world with her stunning voice during the 2009 season of the TV talent show "Britain's Got Talent".

"She has strict technical requirements for the concert, from lighting to stage design," Zhang Lingyan, director of Jiangsu Satellite TV concert, was quoted as saying. "Contrary to that, Susan asked for no special treatment in terms of travel and accommodation, except that she likes pineapple juice." (Source: CRIENGLISH.com)
