VietNamNet Bridge – An exhibition entitled ‘Pong-Ping’ of two Swiss artist duo Plonk &Replonk will be displayed at French Cultural Centre L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi from March 24-April 12 on the occasion of International Francophonie Day.

This installation exhibition featuring posters and wacky objects is expected to attract the participation of famous Vietnamese artist Nguyen Manh Hung.

Additionally, the exhibition themed “Smile! Temporary Art” is set to take place at Manzi Art Space, 14 Pham Huy Ich Street from March 26-April 26.

Well-known in both their place of birth Switzerland and neighbouring country France as Plonk &Replonk, the artist duo/brothers Hubert Froidevaux (1966) and Jacques Froidevaux (1963)explore the endless possible uses of humour in various art forms including object, sculpture, installation, light box, postcard, and graphic print.

Characterized by a mix of black humour and wicked wit, Plonk &Replonk deal with worldwide relevant topics such as environment, globalization, education and consumerism.
