Many popular places in the capital city of Hanoi have closed, whilst others are becoming increasingly quiet as a result of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) fears.

Following a brief lull in business as a result of the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Ta Hien street in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter has become increasingly busy due to the return of foreign visitors.

The itinerary for a tourist visiting Hanoi typically includes some sightseeing for Instagram photos and trying out a bowl of ‘pho’ or a ‘banh mi’, possibly with a cup of egg coffee.
