VietNamNet Bridge – The National Strong Club Table Tennis Tournament opened in the central city of Danang on September 4.

The event has attracted 100 players from 11 men’s teams (HCM City, Tien Giang, Vinh Long, PetroVietnam, T&T Group, Hanoi, Danang, the Ministry of Public Security, Hai Duong 1 and 2, and the Army team) and eight women’s teams (HCM City, Tien Giang, Vinh Long, Hai Duong, Danang, the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi and the Army).

The players will compete in singles and team events for both men and women. There are three men’s groups and two women’s groups for the team events. The athletes will compete following the Swaythling format, meaning three players of each team will compete in five single games.

The single’s events will be held as a round-robin tourney and the winners of each group will compete against each other in the final round.

The tournament will last through September 7.
