It has been unveiled that world renowned global brand Tamsin Cooper has been chosen to serve on the jury of a fashion show sponsored by New Zealand on August 6 in HCM City at the Caravelle Saigon Hotel.
Tamsin Cooper.
“The New Zealand brand, whose luxury fashion accessories are hand-embroidered by Vietnamese craft villagers, is the perfect choice to judge the contest,” said New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam Haike Manning.
Manning said the fashion event is part of the festivities celebrating 40 years of Vietnam-New Zealand diplomatic ties and he thought it most befitting to have Tamsin cooper and Tung Leo from Vietnam’s Project Runway serving on the jury.
“We’re expecting innovative, vibrant, unique and creative fashion.” said Ambassador Manning.
The competition is open to students from the HCM City University of Architecture and Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts of Vietnam, University of Otago, Massey University, Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design and Auckland University of Technology.
The top 20 teams from the competition will be selected to participate in the fashion show in HCM City with the winning team to receive 2,000 NZD.
