VietNamNet Bridge - After the success of ballet "Nut Cracker", the HCM City Symphony Opera and Ballet Theatre will hold a concert to introduce a number of famous works by Tchaikovsky, with the participation of two internationally renowned artists: Filip Tomic and Boris Kraljevic.

Tchaikovsky is one of the most prominent composers of the European classic music school. He is also among the most influential musical talents in the history of world music. He composed almost every genre of music and amazingly, in most genres of music, he had great works that have been performed all over the world until today.

His most prominent works include: six symphonies; ballet "Swan Lake," "Nut Cracker," "Sleeping Beauty," "Eugene Onegin," "The Queen of Spades," three concertos for piano; concerto for violin; Overture "Romeo and Juliet," "The Tempest," "Hamlet," Variations on a Rococo theme for Cello and Orchestra; Serenade for strings; lot of works for piano: Romance op.5, 6 and many other works.

After the success of ballet "Nut Cracker" in November, with tickets for the three concerts being sold out, on December 9, the HCM City Symphony Opera Ballet Theatre will hold a concert to introduce a number of famous works by Tchaikovsky, with the participation of two internationally renowned artists: Filip Tomic and Boris Kraljevic.

Boris Kraljevic is Serbian pianist who graduated from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Russia. He won three awards at international competitions in Yugoslavia. He has performed in many countries in the world: Russia, Japan, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the former Yugoslavia. Boris Kraljevic recorded two CDs of the works of Wolfang Amadeus Mozart and the piano works of Johannes Brahms with KNS Classical (Spain).

Filip Tomic is a Serbian cello artist who was trained from the Moscow Conservatory. He won about 10 awards in the country and a number of prizes in international competitions: Polianski (Ukraine); Canetti (Italy); Ars Nova (Italy); First Prize American Protégé for piano and strings in 2011. He has performed at many famous theaters in the world: Munich, Santiago, Kiev, Vienna, Prague, Brussels, New York, Paris and Luxembourg.

The concert is staged and conducted by Meritorious Artist Tran Vuong Thach, who has extensive experience and reputation in the field of conducting. He participated in many performances over the world with the orchestras of Germany, Italy, Spain, Scotland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Serbia, South Korea, etc. He is director of the HCM City Symphony Opera Ballet Theatre.

The program will take place at 20:00 on December 9 at the HCM City Theatre.
