One of the most popular of all ballets, “Swan Lake” composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky will be presented at Hanoi Opera House on March 18-19.

The Vietnam National Opera and Ballet (VNOB)’s Symphony Orchestra, soprano Dao To Loan, baritone Vu Manh Dung, the chorus of VNOB, Hanoi Voices Choir, Bamboo Ensemble, Waraku Bamboo Ensemble and VNOB’s dancers under the baton of conductor Kotaro Kimura will take part in the performance.

People’s Artist Pham Anh Phuong is artistic director of the concert.

Over the past century, “Swan Lake” is a masterpiece of classical ballet, describing the beauty of classical ballet and music of the great composer Tchaikovsky.
