As technology has developed rapidly, many traditional jobs are disappearing. The jobs that require technological knowledge such as AI engineer and blockchain programmer are predicted to have salaries increasing by 3-10 times in the near future.
Nguyen Duc Long, Digital Transformation Director of the Institute of Blockchain Technology and AI (Vietnam Blockchain Association), commented that the demand for learning and applying AI and blockchain is very high in Vietnam.
The institute has found that even state officials and civil servants in the educational sector want to learn and apply AI.
“State officers just need to know basic knowledge in using AI to see their working speed and productivity improve significantly. Those working in the educational sector and teachers also have demand for AI to make their lesson plans more lively,” Long said.
Many teachers feel worried about their skills to apply high technologies in work. Most students can apply AI, so if teachers don’t improve their AI skills, they will lag behind and won’t be able to discover if students are using AI to do school work.
To solve the problem, he believes that new technologies such as AI and blockchain can be taught by those who have good knowledge. Everyone has the right to learn and access new technologies.
Nguyen Van Tuyen, Director of AI Center under the Institute of Technology and Digital Transformation (Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges), said three grouos use: those who use AI fluently, those who have tried but have not succeeded, and those who are afraid of being left behind.
Tuyen said instead of asking AI to solve problems immediately, people who cannot use AI fluently should raise issues of concern and ask AI to raise questions to obtai information about the issues. Only after chatbots collect enough information is it time for them to ask AI to suggest solutions to the issues.
Le Linh Luong, deputy head of the Institute of Blockchain and AI Technology, noted that blockchain and AI are not just technological trends, but an important driving force for digital transformation. The success in applying the two technologies will help businesses improve performance, safety and adaptability to changes in the market.
