VNPT’s total revenue reached VND54.856 trillion in 2023 and its profit reached VND4.468 trillion. Despite challenges, VNPT maintained its market share in core services, including mobile and broadband services and MyTV, remaining a No 1 in broadband and TV services.

VNPT has strengthened 4.0 solutions, especially Big Data and AI, to analyze interaction data and create personalized experiences for telecom and IT products and services. Thanks to this, 15 VNPT’s core products and services have been standardized and upgraded.

VNPT is developing ecosystems of platforms and products for businesses’ digital transformation and transition of traditional telecommunications services into core platforms. It is also developing a personal digital ecosystem for households by integrating digital services, content services, digital finance, digital television, and digital utilities.

VNPT’s CEO Huynh Quang Liem said VNPT will research and develop new technologies to create new digital products that will boost VNPT's competitiveness.

MobiFone, with the shift from telecommunication service provider to digital service provider, is focusing on technological products in three key fields – digital government, digital society and digital economy.

MobiFone’s total revenue reached VND25.44 trillion in 2023, and pre-tax profit VND1.638 trillion, while the ROE (return on equity) was 7.25 percent.

MobiFone said it would take big strides this year, providing services in digital infrastructure, digital solutions and digital content.

It also plans to expand 4G and 5G coverage throughout the country after getting licenses. It will improve network quality and provide the best possible care for customers.

For Viettel, 2023 was a prosperous year as it gained achievements in all fields, including domestic and foreign telecom services, research, production and logistics. Its accumulated revenue reached VND172.5 trillion, which meant a growth rate of 5.4 percent.

Viettel leads the Vietnamese telecom market with a 56.5 percent market share. It holds 43 percent market share for non-mobile services such as FTTH (fiber to home). It has 8.6 million customers for multi-platform TV services, or 31.2 percent of market share. 

Its revenue from foreign markets grew by 20.5 percent, which was five times higher than the average growth rate of the industry around the world.

Viettel’s goals for 2024 include a 7.2 percent growth rate in consolidated revenue and 84 percent ROE, and conversion of all 2G to 4G subscribers by September 2024.
