Ten Vietnamese beauties hold high positions at world pageants

Pham Hong Thuy Van has won the third runner-up title at the 55th edition of Miss International pageant held recently in Japan. In previous years, other Vietnamese representatives- Thuy Lam, Nguyen Thi Huyen and Truc Diem were in the list of the top 15 of world pageants.

On November 5, 22-year-old Pham Hong Thuy Van’s forth place at Miss International beauty contest was the highest position of Vietnam in the four biggest world pageants, including Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Earth.

Vietnamese representatives had entered Top 15, Top 20 and Top 25 of the past world pageants. In 1995, Truong Quynh Mai was listed in Top 15 at Miss International pageant.
