VietNamNet Bridge – Former tennis star Tran Duc Quynh and Vietnam’s top tennis players Nguyen Thuy Dung and Do Minh Quan will be trainers of a summer camp for children in the southern city of Binh Duong.

The Smart Tennis Summer Camp (ST Camp) is a popular summer sports camp in the US. This year it will open in Vietnam’s Binh Duong city for the first time. This will be a helpful playground for children and teens from 8 to 18 years old.

 

According to former tennis star Tran Duc Quynh, in joining ST Camp, children will be trained with basic and advanced tennis playing techniques or familiarize with other sports.

 

Professional tennis coaches will join the camp, including former number-one player of Vietnam, Tran Duc Quynh, Vietnam’s top female player Nguyen Thuy Dung, and top male player, Do Minh Quan.

 

The camp will be held in 12 days for 72 children. The best trainees will have a chance to join the Joelross summer camp in the US next year.

 

“This camp for children who love tennis, is the premises for opening the first tennis institute in Vietnam,” said Duc Quynh.

 

The newly-established city of Binh Duong has five outdoor tennis courts, four roofed courts, a swimming poor, two football grounds, two basketball grounds and a sports house.
