Taking place on the 3rd day of the New Lunar Year, which falls on January 27, from 10am until 12am, the walk will start in front of the Ly Thai To statue with a brief introduction to the founder of Hanoi.

As the group stroll through the streets bordering Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart of Hanoi, the members will discuss legends, points of interest and stories, and touch on architecture and the French influence.

This walk is a neat compact introduction to this part of the city. The organisers hope participants will discover something they did not know before about this famous area.

Meeting point: Ly Thai To statue, Ly Thai To Park by the lake. Max: 10 people. Fee: VND70,000 (excluding VND30,000 entrance fee to Ngoc Son Temple).
