Revelers will have the opportunity to experience new imaging technology including virtual reality photography on Nguyen Hue Flower Street in the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday, or Tet.

This will be the 15th year in a row the HCMC government has assigned Saigontourist Holding Company to organize the flower street.

The organizer of the annual event will offer many new features such as recording short videos, enhancing the image quality, further sharing live videos, and virtual reality photography.

Tourists can learn how to use virtual reality photography on the website of Saigontourist at www.saigontourist.com.vn and its Facebook page.

The technology lured a great number of young people to the Flower Street during the last Tet. As a result, they shared many great pictures.

Themed “Khat vong vuon xa” (Aspiration to reach further), the flower street lasts from February 13 (the 28th of the twelfth lunar month) to February 19 (the 4th of the first lunar month).

Its mascot takes inspiration from the Phu Quoc Ridgeback, a breed of dog well known for being agile, intelligent and brave from Phu Quoc Island off the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang.

The street which stretches around 720 meters also includes playgrounds for children, and lovers on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.
