VietNamNet Bridge – Two famous players of the Barclays English Premier League will come to Vietnam to play in a friendly match for charity on June 14.

 

South Korean football international Park Ji Sung and other world-famous stars will play a friendly game for charity with Vietnam’s Navibank Saigon football in Ho Chi Minh City on June 16, according to an agreement reached in Hanoi on March 22.

 

Representatives of the Park Ji Sung Foundation and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) met on March 22. They agreed that the above team will arrive in HCM City on June 14 and have a friendly match for charity against Vietnam’s Navibank FC on June 15.

 

At that time, V-League will be off after the 19th round. Navibank Saigon’s team in the friendly game may have the participation of some stars of HCM City and Saigon Xuan Thanh clubs.

 

 

Highly-expected players to feature at the match on Thong Nhat Stadium may include Brazilian Carlos Tevez and at least five other players from English Football League Championship clubs. The list of guest players will be announced in early June.

 

Midfielder Park Ji Sung and Carlos Tevez currently play for Manchester United.
