They talked about the possibility to jointly implement a project on dairy cow breeding and processing of dairy products, with investment from Vietnam’s TH True Milk – TH Group.

Accordingly, about 200,000 milk cows will be raised on an area of 80,000 ha.

At the meeting, Moscow oblast’s governor Andrey Vorobiev appreciated Vietnam’s investment and added that agricultural development including dairy industry has enjoyed incentives and support from the Russian government.

For his part, Ambassador Son believed that the TH True Milk project will be successfully implemented in Moscow oblast and its dairy products will meet Russia’s strict standards and successfully compete with dairy products from other countries.

The Moscow oblast’s leaders pledged to create a niche for TH True Milk to carry out the project, such as ensuring infrastructure, road building, and electricity, water and gas supply.

The project will be divided into three phases with investment of around US$2.5 billion.

After completing legal procedures and necessary preparations, the first phase is expected to kick off in late next year at an initial investment of US$500 million.
