Thai Son Nam win second match at regional champs

Defending champions Thai Son Nam of Viet Nam pocketed their second win at the AFF Futsal Club Championship in Bangkok, Thailand, yesterday, Nov 24.

Thai Son Nam defeated Dural Warriors from Australia 1-0 in the second match of the round-robin format tournament at the Bangkok Arena.

Nguyen Thi Chau scored the only goal at the sixth minute. The win made them the leader in the ranking with two wins. On Monday they trounced Malaysian Felda United FC 8-0.

In today fixture Thai Son Nam will face ACE FC of Myanmar.

On the men's side, Sanna Khanh Hoa of Viet Nam lost 1-3 to Australian East Coast Heat.

They will next meet Felda United FC.

Binh Duong to call up U19 players for V League 1

Defending champions V.League 1 Becamex Binh Duong will call up four of their U19 players to compete in the national premier league next year following their outstanding performance at the recent 2015 AFF U19 Youth Championship in Laos.

Nguyen Tien Linh, Tran Duy Khanh, Nguyen Trong Huy and Truong Du Dat are products of Becamex Binh Duong's youth academy that opened two years ago.

"We call these players up to play in V.League 1 next year so they can mature and develop as players," said Cao Van Chong, general director of the Binh Duong Football Joint Stock Company.

Binh Duong won the V.League in 2007, 2008, 2014 and 2015. They also took part in the group stages of the 2008 and 2015 AFC Champions League.
