The Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi will join forces with Thailand’s private organizations and the Thai community in Vietnam to hold the 9th Thailand Festival at Thong Nhat Park in Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi on September 30 and October 1.
The two-day event is expected to boost cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Thailand and bring Thai culture closer to Vietnamese people.
Visitors will be offered ample opportunities to experience diverse Thai cuisine and learn more about tourism information of the land of golden pagodas.
In a statement sent to the Daily yesterday, the Royal Thai Embassy says more than 70 artists from Thailand will be present at the event, promising to stage impressive music performances in harmonious combination of traditional and modern styles, and Muay Thai (Thai kick boxing).
Especially, local and international tourists can savor authentic flavors of Thai dishes prepared by Thai chefs and join lucky draws with scores of valuable prizes.
Visitors to the event will enjoy free admission.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the National Fund for Vietnamese Children with an aim to bring a better life for local underprivileged children.
