Playing on away ground at the Ha Noi University of Education gymnasium, which was full of home-side supporters, the Catfish did not lose their spirit.

They ran rapidly to lead 17-2, just minutes after the beginning of the first quarter.

The Warriors, who topped the ranking chart after the qualification, struggled to open their attacks but failed to level the score, which read 30-17 for the visitors.

The Catfish maintained their lead in the next two sets at 47-38 and 63-53, respectively.

Things seemed comfortable for the Catfish until the middle of the last quarter.

The Catfish’s key players, Tam Dinh, Sang Dinh and Hamilton, made their fourth mistakes and were out of the game, making it difficult for their defence.

Making the most of it, the Warriors created consecutive attacks and took what they wanted.

Trio Jaywuan Hill, Justin Young and To Quang Trung played key roles in the Warriors’ 42 points in the last 10 minutes to complete their comeback.

Hill became the MVP of the final, with 36 points, 11 rebounds and one assist.
