On November 3, Thanh Thuy stood out during the national costume competition of Miss International 2024, held in Japan. The Vietnamese representative joined over 70 other contestants, each presenting elaborate outfits celebrating the traditional culture of their respective countries.

On stage, Thanh Thuy wore the “Silk Lotus Maiden” creation by designer Bui Cong Thien Bao. The outfit featured a combination of a silk ao dai and a traditional weaving frame. For ease of movement during the performance, the designer simplified some details and reduced the weight to approximately 5kg, allowing Thanh Thuy to confidently and gracefully showcase her elegant moves.
