The task force for drug crime prevention No. 2 (High Command of the Vietnam Coast Guard) has cooperated with Cua Sot Border Station and Loc Ha District Police, Loc Ha District Military Command (Ha Tinh province) to organize propaganda activities about the Vietnam Coast Guard Law, drug prevention and fighting and present gifts to fishermen who are Catholics in the region.

At propaganda events, the Coast Guard force distributed over 1,000 leaflets; 300 books on the Vietnam Coast Guard Law; presented gifts to 50 families, parishioners with difficult circumstances worth VND33 million; donated gifts worth VND8 million to schools and poor students.

In the Cua Sot area, Loc Ha district, the Coast Guard presented 200 national flags to more than 50 fishing boats, gifts worth VND4 million to 2 families of fishermen who are parishioners in difficult circumstances; coordinated with the Northern Association of Young Doctors, Hapro Hanoi and other units to organize free medical examination, consultation and present free medicine, donate 500 kg of rice to more than 100 people in the commune.

The program took place from June 25 to 28. This is part of a propaganda campaign named "The Coast Guard accompanies with fishermen" and "The Coast Guard with religious people" to contribute to strengthening solidarity between the Coast Guard forces and local people to maintain political security and social order and safety in the area.
