VietNamNet Bridge – The Hon Khoi salt field, around 45km from Nha Trang city, is the largest salt field in central Vietnam.
Most workers in this salt field, which is several hundred hectares, are women. The image of women in non la (palm-leaf conical hat), carrying two loads of rice on their shoulder and walking in the salt fields is an icon of labor in Vietnam.
