VietNamNet Bridge - For the first time, a screening room where the audience can watch movie from beds has opened in Vietnam.
This projection room was inaugurated at a cineplex in Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City on July 8. The L'Amour screening room has 12 beds 1.6 m wide. Ticket price is VND600,000 ($28)/bed for one or two adults, including drinks as tea or coffee and snacks.
Each bed has two large pillows, two small pillows and backrest blankets.
This is the first time a cinema in Vietnam is offering this type of projection room, where the viewers feel like they are watching movies at a hotel.
The audiences are served tea and coffee while watching movies.
There are also mineral water, snacks, and candles to create a romantic, cozy atmosphere for couples when watching movies.
The L'Amour screening room is designed primarily for couples who love romance. However, it is also for friends and families.
After information about this special projection room was released, netizens were very interested in this new style of watching movie. However, some expressed concern that some couples may behave excessively while watching movies, affecting other audiences.
There are surveillance cameras and personnel in the room, who remind the viewers of bad behavior or invite them to leave the room if they repeat their actions, which affect others, a representative of the cinema said.
