Tran Temple is located in the core area of Trang An, a world natural heritage site. It was built during the Dinh Dynasty, one of four temples in the ancient capital of Hoa Lu.

The temple worships Quy Minh Dai Vuong, one of three brothers who were three generals under King Hung Vuong, the 18th. They were canonized including Quy Minh Dai Vuong, Son Thanh Tan Vuong and Cao Son Dai Vuong.
