Monaco is not only known for its glamour but also for its rich cultural values and prominent singers. One of them is the well-known The Monaco Boys’ Choir. Choosing Vietnam as their first stop on the Asia’s tour, the world-renowned choir had a fantastic concert at the St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Hanoi.
The choir is composed of members from nine years of age to 16.
Young and enthusiastic singers have been considered Monaco’s ambassadors. They portray the cultural values of their beautiful country to friends across the globe.
Their tour aims to tighten the friendship between the two countries and give Hanoians a wonderful experience listening to hymns by young stars.
Founded in 1974, the Monaco Boys Choir is part of the Monaco Cathedral Choir. Today, under the High Patronage of HSH Prince Albert II, The Monaco Boys Choir play an active role in Monaco’s cultural life.
The boys have performed famous songs such as “Marc Antoine”, “Les Champs-Elysees” and “My favorite things” among others. Angelic and soulful voices have moved audiences, as well as captivating their senses.
The Monaco Boys Choir will offer another concert at 8pm on July 13th after the daily mass at Hanoi Cathedral.–VNA
