The intangible values that people perceive from their beliefs are not superstition but "great science".

In particular, residents of That Son area in An Giang Province believe and are proud of the folk culture and beliefs that have been handed down through generations in their hometown. They believe that the "Buddha’s stone hand" on the slopes of Cam Mountain has silently supported and protected them through many ups and downs. 

Cam Mountain known as Thien Cam Son is compared to a beautiful silk brocade. It is the highest and grandest mountain in the That Son area in Tinh Bien-Nha Bang-Tri Ton in An Hao Commune, Tinh Bien District in An Giang Province. The landscape in this area fascinates every visitor.

Cam Mountain has an altitude of 705m and a circumference of 28,600m. The weather on the mountain is influenced by tropical monsoons and has an average temperature of 25C. In spring, during the day, it is cool and fresh with green and lush trees but at night it is rather cold. In the early morning, the mountain is covered with a white fog. In the evening, it is covered with clouds. From the top of the mountain, visitors have a panoramic view of vast rice fields stretching to the sea and the southwestern border. With its renowned scenery, the area has become a popular tourist site.

In addition to the wonderful natural environment, Forbidden Mountain is known as an ideal place for Buddhist worship activities at famous spiritual structures such as Van Linh Pagoda, Big Buddha Pagoda, Small Buddha Pagoda, the largest Maitreya Statue in Asia.... During peak season, visitors flock to Cam Mountain to contemplate the natural beauty of That Son Mountain Range as well as participate in worship activities in the famous pagodas at this tourism destination. 

From the top of Cam Mountain, there is beautiful scenery surrounding it. In spring, visitors go to enjoy stunningly beautiful scenery where exuberant fruit trees show their lovely fruits, white fog surrounds everything in the early morning, and all parts of the leaves are touched by the sunlight at lunch time, with the clouds hovering on top of the mountain in the late afternoon and the chilly night time... This is in harmony with the sounds of waterfalls, streams and birds calling each other... 

With beautiful scenery and the large forests of trees including many century-old trees with a vast canopy of leaves, Cam Mountain has become an ideal eco-tourist site. Visitors can enjoy the landscape of the southwestern mountains and taste different kinds of fruit, such as mangoes, jackfruit, bananas, durian, avocado and custard-apples. They also have an opportunity to call at shops or stay overnight in the inns to enjoy the atmosphere of the mountainous area.
