VietNamNet Bridge – Speaking at the national conference on external information and information on maritime sovereignty and demarcation in Hanoi this afternoon, Mr. Dinh The Huynh, the Head of the Central Committee for Propaganda and Education, said that the Party has enough experience and strong stuff in carrying out revolution and renovation.

Mr. Huynh spoke about a problem: the recent visit to China of the National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, which has been distorted on some websites.

Regarding to the context of the visit, Huynh said that the Chairman of the Chinese Parliament invited the Vietnamese counterpart to visit China for four consecutive years but NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung could not make the visit until Chinese president Xi Jinping paid a visit to Vietnam.

"Some websites distorted that the Vietnamese NA Chairman’s visit to China is a chance for China to intervene into the upcoming 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. I would like to refute the information. I confirm that China cannot have an impact on the 12th National Party Congress," Mr. Huynh said.

He asked that relevant agencies and the media raise their voices to reject any inaccurate information.

"Even during the visit of the Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to China, in which I participated in all activities, including the talks between the two Presidents, the Chinese President Xi Jinping only said 'I wish your 12th National Party Congress to take place successfully', without any other word to influence our Party Congress," said Mr. Huynh.

"We have our posture, our principles, and who could have an impact on us? How could they? Our Party has sufficient experience and firm stuff in carrying out revolution and renovation and maintain independence,” he stressed.
