Nga, 35, in Chau Thanh district of the southern province of Tien Giang, said she had the tumor at birth.
The tumor was initially as big as an egg, on Nga’s bottom. When she was 15, its size was similar to an orange. The tumor has kept growing until now, spanning from the woman’s buttocks to her ankle.
As the tumor is too heavy, Nga moves very hard. She has to use a stick or a chair to walk step by step.
Nga’s father, Bui Van Truoc, 75, said he very worried because the tumor developed very quickly in the last two years. He wished to take Nga to hospital but he could not afford to.
Truoc is a war invalid. The man and his daughter now live on social welfares.
