VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnamese tennis player Nguyen Hoang Thien and his partner Wong Chun Hun from Hong Kong won the men's doubles title at the New Zealand 18 & Under Summer Championships.

The teen duo defeated Robert Allan and Nicholas Horton from Australia 6-3, 6-2 in the final match.

In the quarter-finals of the men's single category, the top seed Thien surprisingly lost 6-3, 1-6, 1-6 to South Korea's Kang Ku-keon, who stands in the 200th position in the world junior rankings. Thien is currently ranked 76th.
