VietNamNet Bridge – Mr. Pham Van Hai, Chairman of the Thien Dang (Heaven) Company, based in Binh Thanh commune, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province said that his company just lost 4 ancient watches, worth about VND6 billion ($300,000).

On the evening of October 16, the company’s staff checked the antique gallery and detected that a glass door was broken. They checked out the gallery and discovered four ancient Rolex watches had disappeared.

According to the company’s Chair Pham Van Hai, the resort displays approximately 50,000 antiques of all kinds on an area of 32ha. The company has asked the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai’s permission to open a private museum.

On October 17-10, Binh Son district police searched the scene and began investigating the case.

Scene investigation shows that the thieves are proficient and know clearly about the value of thousands of items displayed there, so they only stole Rolex watches.

However, one thing is hard to understand that a large resort worth millions of dollars like Thien Dang had been in a power outage for 10 days.
