First launched in 2009, the Things Everlasting National Concert, organized by VietNamNet, has over nearly two decades become a familiar musical tradition for audiences at 2 p.m. every September 2, Vietnam’s National Day.

Things Everlasting was launched in 2009 and has traditionally been held on the afternoon of September 2 each year.

Although the concert cannot be staged live this year, VietNamNet is continuing the tradition with an online program featuring some of the most memorable performances selected from more than a decade of Things Everlasting concerts.

The program brings together outstanding instrumental and vocal works from different periods, including The Boatman on the Po Ko River, Song Lo Epic, Marching Under the Military Flag, Toward Hanoi, My Love, Song of Faithfulness, Northwest Love Song, Vietnamese Birds, Dream of the Leaf Season, Love Song, Mother Loves Her Child, The Vietnamese Stance, The One Who Returns Brings a Day of Joy, and My Kool Vietnam, among others.

Audiences are invited to enjoy performances by People’s Artist Bui Cong Duy, People’s Artist Thanh Lam, Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, cellist Phan Phuc, pianist Luong Khanh Nhi, saxophonist An Tran, Meritorious Artist Bui Le Chi, the Ao Linh group, singers Tung Duong and Trong Tan, Meritorious Artists Pham Khanh Ngoc and Dang Duong, and singer Pham Thu Ha.

They perform alongside the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra and the Sun Symphony Orchestra under conductors Le Phi Phi and Olivier Ochanine.
