VietNamNet Bridge – More than 5,000 fans of Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA) football club made a chaos at the Thong Nhat Stadium in HCM City last night, April 19. Police had to extinguish fire by waterspouts.



SLNA - the current V-League champion – has had a series of 12 undefeated matches.
The team was escorted by over 5,000 fans from Nghe An to HCM City.







SLNA’s fans went to HCM City with banners and flags.






They “boomed” on stands after SLNA scored the first goal in the game against Saigon FC.





When Saigon FC scored a goal, SLNA fans began to insult referees and threw bottles and other
things to the football ground. They also provoked with police.







They did not take flares into the stadium but they burnt anything they had.





In the last minute, SLNA scored the second goal to get a draw. The team’s fans were extremely happy.
 Some of them crossed the fence to share their happiness to footballers, regardless of guards.







They caused a chaos in the stadium.






Some extremists were handcuffed by policemen.






The match ended 2-2 but SLNA’s fans did not leave the stadium.
They kept burning things on stands.






Police had to mobilize a fire-fighter truck to stamp out fires.






Nearly 30 minutes after the game, SLNA’s fans withdrew from the stadium.
However, they kept causing chaos on the street.
