For this year’s event up to 1,000 bonsai and natural landscape art works, in addition to 250 natural stone art works known as Suiseki, are on display for visitors to view.
The main aim of the exhibition is to honour the hard-working spirit and unlimited creativity that local and foreign artisans from across the world display.
The occasion also offers a platform during which artists can present their unique bonsai art works to the public and exchange their experiences with one another.
Throughout the exhibition a wide range of activities are taking place, including a photo contest of images featuring bonsai trees, a workshop displaying the best of global and Vietnamese bonsai, along with sightseeing tours of the southern city.
The Asia-Pacific Bonsai and Suiseki Exhibition is scheduled to run until November 17.
