The exhibition will open today, October 24, at 6pm at the Vietnam Fine Art Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Hanoi and will last until October 30.
Bui Duy Khanh, 39, loved painting when he was a little boy and he studied basic skills from a teacher. He began learning painting in watercolors in early 2010. With his talent and passion, Khanh’s paintings are pervaded with his feelings. Sea landscapes are the major content of Khanh’s paintings.
Vu Ngoc Vinh, 33, studied at the Vietnam Fine Art University. He has earned living by painting but the artworks displayed at the exhibition are completely separate from the market. The paintings show Vinh’s concerns of the social life.
Mai Duy Minh, 35, has organized two solo exhibitions so far. Minh will introduce his largest painting “Promising Land” (540cm x 200cm) at this exhibition.
Art critic Nguyen Quan said that “Timeless” describes Vietnam’s today and Vietnamese characteristics.
