After a summer with blues, jazz and experimental music, street concerts continue to be held with classical music, which emphasizes the solo form. Great vocal works Vietnam will also be performed.
If in the previous two seasons, there were only the performances of 20 artists of strings, this year the number of participating artists will be more than 30.
On the afternoon of Saturday, the street audience will enjoy piano, violin, violoncello, cello, trumpet and vocal performances. The Sunday morning will be devoted to quartets. The Sunday afternoon will be the shows of strings and trumpets. This is really a new step forward with reforms in the organization of a concert program that lasts for several weeks.
"Hanoi people will know more about the musical instruments performed in symphony orchestras and their independent sound," said musician Xuan Huy, general director.
"Maybe one day the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra will be able to go down the road to reach the audience," Meritorious Artist Tran Thi Mo said.
Female singers Hong Nhung, Thanh Lam, My Linh, Hong Vy and Ha Pham Thang Long will be performing famous works such as “Oh mio babino caro” (Oh my dear father), “I'd give my life for you” (in the musical Miss Saigon), “Cung Tien”, “Hanoians”, “Pradise”, etc. for free.
"Last year I enjoyed a street concert as an audience and felt very happy. This year I cannot stand outside anymore. In this event, I am singing an aria in Italian and a difficult song - "Hanoian," said My Linh.

“I have been to many places and I’ve heard wonderful sound from European streets or in theatres. Sometimes the sound was not perfect, but the feeling was wonderful - a carnival atmosphere. It is the feeling that is somewhat absent in our country,” she added
“I am very interested in the meaning of this program, especially for children, because what we enjoy when we are children will have small powerful influence when we grow up,” she said.
The shows will have the participation of famous names, such as violinist, Meritorious Artist Chau Son – head of the Strings Faculty of the National Academy of Music, People's Artist Bui Gia Tuong – the lecturer of the first violoncello training course of the National Academy of Music, Meritorious Artist, cellist Tran Thi Mo, pianist Tan Ngoc who graduated from Boston University (piano).
The concerts will be held on Ly Thai To Street, Hanoi.
