VietNamNet Bridge – A mother, daughter and granddaughter were found dead yesterday after being strangled to death at their home in Chau Thanh District’s Tam Hiep Commune in the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang, according to police.

The husband and father, Dinh Van Trung, who had just returned from the hospital where he had visited his mother, found the three in their house.

His wife, Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, 44, his daughter, Dinh Thi Ngoc Ngan, 24, and his granddaughter Phan Ngoc Anh, 5, died from strangulation, police said.

Another daughter, Dinh Thi Ngoc Anh, 17, was bound hand and foot in the room, but was alive.

Nguyen Van Tao, the deputy director of the police department in the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang, said that police examined the scene and discovered through questioning that Ngan’s husband, Nguyen Dang Khoa, 31, from Dong Thap Province, was a prime suspect in the murders and was still at large. The investigation is continuing.
