FIBAA is a quality assurance organization established by the Swiss government, with headquarters in both Germany and Switzerland. It is a globally recognized institution specializing in the accreditation of programs in the social sciences, humanities, law, management, and economics.

The organization conducts rigorous evaluations based on criteria such as faculty quality, student services, curriculum, practical applicability, infrastructure, and support services.

Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong, President of NEU, stated that the university now has 20 programs accredited by ACBSP (USA), 15 programs accredited by FIBAA, and 16 training programs certified by national standards.

As of the end of July, approximately 200 higher education institutions across Vietnam have received accreditation, though most have been assessed by domestic organizations.

Eleven universities have been recognized as meeting quality standards by international educational quality assurance organizations, including three institutions accredited this year: The National Economics University, the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi, and Van Lang University.

These 11 institutions have been accredited by five different organizations, with the most notable being HCERES (the French High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education) and AUN-QA (the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance).
