VietNamNet Bridge – HCM City Youth Union has made three national records on the occasion of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s 80th anniversary, March 26.

The three records include: the largest painting of the Youth Union’s badge made by coins, the largest wood painting about environment and the sap dance with the highest number of dancers.

The HCM City Youth Union on March 26 organized activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Youth Union at the Youth Cultural House. The highlight of the program was a sap dance, which had the participation of 700 people. It has been recorded as the sap dance with the highest number of dancers in Vietnam.

The same day, the HCM City University of Agriculture and Forestry introduced a wood painting about the environment. The painting was made with 80 pieces, totaling 51 square meters in area. The painting has been recognized by the Vietnam Record Book Center as a national record.

The HCM City-based Bach Viet College called for its students to save VND1000 dong a day, from March 1-20, to collect nearly VND50 million ($2,500) to make a painting featuring the Youth Union’s badge, combined by 50,000 VND1000 coins.

This painting has also been recognized as the largest of its kind.
