VietNamNet Bridge – Miss Vietnam World 2010, Diem Huong; the second runner-u, Victoria Thuy Vy and Miss Grandslam Asia 2009, Tran Thi Huong Giang, on May 25 and 26, left Vietnam to Thailand to participate in the Miss Thailand Beach International 2011 pageant.

 

The pageant commenced in mid-May and the finale will take place tonight, May 27, in Bangkok.

 

The three Vietnamese beauty queens will join the pageant as honored guests and jurypeople.

 

Diem Huong will present awards to winners and also perform in swimwear, while Huong Giang and Victoria Thuy Vy will be jury members.

 

The presence of three Vietnamese beauties at a pageant in Thailand is a chance to market Vietnamese culture in Thailand.

 

The three Vietnamese girls chose ao dai by Vo Viet Chung and evening gowns by Quynh Paris and Gosto for their trip.

 

Nguyen Cong Khe, Chairman of the Youth Media Group, is also invited to the pageant. Khe said that he would discuss with Thai partners, Vietnam’s participation in the Miss Thailand Beach International in the future and consult them on the preparation for the Miss Earth International 2011.
