VietNamNet Bridge – As an event in the Vietnamese - French cultural exchange program, senior fashion designer Minh Hanh and two young designers will take 100 designs to the show at Chambord castle on September 7.

"This is a challenge and being proud not only of the three designers, but also of Vietnam fashion industry because Chambord is an architectural masterpiece of the world which was recognized by the UNESCO as a cultural heritage of humanity. This is the first time Chambord is hosting a fashion show from a distant country – Vietnam," said Minh Hanh.
Minh Hanh and her colleagues put the image of a "phoenix" in the designs because this bird is a symbol of noble beauty, elegance and freedom.
Minh Hanh used “Vietnamese materials” in her collection, including handmade lace of Ha Nam - Hanoi, handmade linen of H'mong people, silk and brocade. Especially she used crocodile skin in 15 designs.
The collection by Cong Khanh is the dream about the legends of Goric art, through which the majestic architecture of Chambord castle is shown as a city in the air by printing technique on silk and wood jewelry.

20 designs by Trong Nguyen are the link between the famous paintings on display at Chambord to create geometric patterns as open space. The mural patterns of Chambord castle were put on Vietnamese ao dai with the aim of creating a blend of East and West.
These designs will be performed by several Vietnamese models such as Miss Vietnam Ngoc Han, Hong Que, Kha My Van, Lam Thu Hang and some French models.
