VietNamNet Bridge – The War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and the Vietnam Women’s Museum in Hanoi have entered the list of the top 25 most attractive museums in Asia, according to a recent Travelers' Choice Attractions survey conducted by TripAdvisor, the world’s largest tourism website.

The War Remnants Museum on Vo Van Tan street, District 3 in Ho Chi Minh City, which displays documents, photos and artifacts showing the aftermath of the foreign wars that dragged on in Vietnam, was ranked fifth on the list.
Opened to visitors in November 1997, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Nguyen Van Huyen Road in Hanoi came in the sixth place. It showcases around 29,000 artifacts representing the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups and Southeast Asian countries.
The Vietnam Women’s Museum in Ly Thuong Kiet Street in Hanoi is dedicated to the role of Vietnamese women during the past struggles for national independence as well as in the current national construction and development. The museum was numbered 11th on the TripAdvisor list.
The list is based on tourist votes for their favourites among more than 1,265 destinations in 39 countries around the world, including landmarks, museums, parks and amusement parks.
TripAdvisor helps people with travel information and posts travel-related reviews and opinions, in addition to engaging in interactive travel forums. It currently operates in 30 nations and has created the world’s largest tourism community.
The website is viewed by around 60 million tourists and receives more than 75 million comments and feedback responses every month.
