Thuy An is a 22-year-old from Kien Giang province and is currently a student at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. She stands at 1.68 metres tall with measurements of 83-65-89.

Thuy An has previous experience competing in beauty contests, most notably having previously been awarded the second runner-up title during the 2018 version of Miss Vietnam.

The Miss Intercontinental competition is one of the world’s most prestigious beauty pageants, alongside Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss International. During last year’s event Vietnamese entrant Le Au Ngan Anh finished among the contest’s Top 4.
