The five-storey building overlooking West Lake also hosts art events and new creative projects by the artist.
The first floor is decorated with murals representing the signature flowers of the capital.
On the second floor, Thuy displays mini editions of her significant pieces which have won awards at home and abroad, such as the Ceramic Road along the Red River, the lotus-shaped fountain in Mai Xuan Thuong Park (at the southeast corner of West Lake), the 312sq.m national flag at Truong Sa Lon Island, the Mirror House in Hanoi’s Thong Nhat Park and two murals on the lotus marsh at Noi Bai International Airport which received medals at the International A' Design Awards in 2018 and 2019 in Italy, respectively. Not to mention the images of the French - Vietnamese Spring event in France last year, in which Thuy and artists of her New Hanoi Company made a mural along the Seine River and presented an ao dai (traditional long dress) collection in Choisy le Roi city.
The third and fourth floors are galleries of Vietnamese and foreign painters and photographers, including Lại Dien Dam, Nguyen Huu Bao, Le Viet Khanh, Le Huy, Consuelo le Mire (Chile), Maria Teresa Bobbio (Argentina), Dominique de Miscault (France) and Xiomara Perez (Panama). The artworks depict the icons of Vietnam, such as Long Bien Bridge, Sword Lake, West Lake, the Old Quarter, Ha Long Bay, the imperial city of Hue and nightlife in HCM City. These foreign artists also have some parts on the Ceramic Road.

There is a room with abstract paintings reflected through mirrors creating impressive visual effects. It’s designed by Thuy and Mike Savad from New Jersey (United States).
On the occasion, Thuy also introduces her experiment in fashion. She released a collection of ao dai and dresses imprinted with images of significant flowers, architecture and landscape of Hanoi and Vietnam.
The art space will promote Vietnamese art and culture to Vietnamese and international visitors. |
“The fashion show by the Seine River brought much inspiration for me in fashion,” said Thuy. “I am aware that fashion is a good way to promote culture and images of the country.”
Located at 97 Nguyen Dinh Thi Street, the art space opens every day from 9am to 7pm with the aim to promote Vietnam’s art and culture and delight Vietnamese and foreign art lovers in the capital.
