Vietnamese-American singer Thuy Tien will stage a solo performance in HCM City next week at a special show for fans celebrating her 25-year career.

Her live show, Em Se Ve (I Will Come Back), will be televised on Viet Nam Television's VTV9 and on some local channels.

Highlights will include pop songs and songs in English, which made her famous worldwide.

Born in HCM City in 1972, Tien began her singing career in 1989. She performed as a lead singer in the band Hy Vong (Hope), one of the city's most popular bands.

Tien, who became well-known for her nasal-like tone, signed contracts with studios and music producers and released several albums and music videos.

Tien's first show in Viet Nam in 15 years will take place on March 14 in Hoa Binh Theatre at 240 Ba Thang Hai Street in District 1.
