Tickets are delivered three ways: by ticket agents at Hanoi’s My Dinh and Hang Day stadiums (40 percent), on the Internet and paging service (8742) (25 percent), and by registering with the Vietnam Football Federation (for groups only) (35 percent).
Tickets started selling on November 29 at My Dinh and Hang Day stadiums.
On the first day, few fans went to the two stadiums to buy tickets, but many ticket traders appeared at ticket stalls to collect tickets for good seats to resell later at a profit.
In the afternoon of November 29, the prices were pushed up. Tickets with a face value of VND 150,000 were sold at VND 170,000—180,000 per ticket. Those of lower face values were also sold at a price higher by VND 10,000-20,000.
The Vietnam Football Development JS Company, the ticket distributor, said that it would investigate and deal with this situation.
